We are a chartered Democratic club, serving Democrats living in the western part of the San Fernando Valley as well as in communities farther west, such as Calabasas and Agoura Hills. Our meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm at Shomrei Torah Synagogue, 7353 Valley Circle Blvd., West Hills. Our mission is expressed in the Preamble of our club's constitution, which reads as follows:
In order to stimulate an active interest in government and community affairs, to increase the efficiency of popular government, to foster and perpetuate the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party, and to provide for all people through its administration the highest degree of justice and social welfare, we do associate ourselves together to establish the Valley West Democratic Club, hereinafter referred to as “The Club.”
